If you need immediate medical attention call 911. Otherwise get to a safe space and reach out to a 24/7 hotline and/or a trusted friend/family member.
Preserve evidence if you choose to seek medical care at a hospital to have a sexual assault forensic exam done; DO NOT shower, urinate, douche, brush your teeth, wash your hands, spray perfume/cologne, change/wash your clothes, eat, or smoke.
Consider reporting the sexual assault to the police, especially within the first 5 days of the assault.
Consider seeking support from a licensed therapist to address questions and help you process any emotions and challenges you may be facing.
Consider seeking support from a Sexual Assault Counselor and Advocate to help you through this process.
And always remember that sexual assault is NEVER your fault.
